THE LEADERS
Coach Martinez
-
Head Coach & Owner
-
From Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico
-
English/Spanish Bilingual

He is tough! He is brutally honest!! He WILL push you!!!
Coach Martinez spent his early childhood years in the mountains of Guerrero, Mexico. Guerrero, meaning warrior in Spanish, traces its roots back to the Aztecs - and Coach has always held onto that warrior culture. His fighting spirit led him to pursue football and wrestling as outlets. His dedication to training led him to 2x conference championship and a 5th place regional finish in wrestling.
After high school, without physical outlets, Coach began to gain weight and reached over 300 pounds. Enough was enough, so he tapped into his fighter spirit, and started training Muay-Thai. He lost the weight, gained his health back, and found a love of Muay-Thai. So began the dream of opening his own MMA, Muay-Thai focused gym.
The most important thing to Coach is his family and his two children - Norielys and Saul Jr, aka Ping Ping. Nory is our loudest fan and the best cheerleader. Ping Ping is officially ‘Little Coach’ – He is always by Papi’s side! At Inmortales MMA, we are all family!
A class with Coach Martinez is unlike any other. He knows how it feels to be the smallest guy in the gym. He knows how it feels to be the most overweight guy in the gym. But he also knows how it feels to rise above your fears and accomplish your goals. Try one of his classes! It will be one of the hardest things you’ve ever done – and also – the most rewarding!! You WON’T be disappointed!!!

His calm and focused teaching style will polish your skills.
Coach Palomino is a lifelong athlete. He started his path in high school studying Taekwondo. Always curious to try something new, he switched to learning soccer. An injury caused him to refocus and pick up boxing. In his journey for growth, David trained under Coach Martinez and loved his experience with the gym. Due to his excellent fundamental skills, Coach Martinez promoted him to resident boxing coach. Now, he continues to develop his knowledge by serving as both a PKB champion fighter and a teacher.
Coach Palomino is a calm and composed fighter. He breaks down his opponents with steady pressure. With a teaching style that matches that of his boxing, Coach will break down your bad habits and build up your techniques. He is patient and great with beginners and runs fun and energetic classes.
